Buck stock

Derek Borkholder

Owner / Property Consulting & Sales

Derek shot his first deer at 11, sparking a lifelong passion that evolved into managing properties for healthier deer herds. In 2018, Derek heard that his longtime friend, Leon Miller, was launching his own land management company. After jokingly suggesting Leon should hire him, Derek joined the cause, and a business was formed. Today, he is living his dreams, and he often reflects on the words of Don Higgins: “Dream big, God’s reality is way bigger than our own.”

Kenny Borkholder

Customer Service & Sales

Kenny manages the office, warehouse, and order processing, ensuring you're taken care of and we stay well-stocked. His passion for land stewardship began at age six, planting trees with his dad. He received his first gun, at 22, early on and grew up hunting. A video of Don Higgins harvesting a buck sparked Kenny’s deeper interest in deer hunting. After attending a Tagout Technique seminar in 2021, he got the chance to join the team. He accepted—and hasn’t looked back since.
