Timeline of WestWind Wildlife
WestWind Wildlife was built on a lifelong passion for hunting. Our founder began hunting as a boy alongside his father, and by 18, he was managing their family farm to improve the deer hunting experience. In 2018, after two longtime friends reconnected, TagOut Technique—a hunting land management company—was born. Their mission was simple and sincere: to help others succeed in the field through honest guidance, expert land management, and a supportive hunting community.
In 2025, the team saw an opportunity to provide vetted products for their growing community, leading to the inception of WestWind Wildlife. Now with a brick-and-mortar location in Rentown, outdoor enthusiasts have a destination in Amish country to explore and enjoy.
Our founder discovers his passion for hunting while learning from his father, a formative time that instilled values of patience, responsibility, and stewardship.
After two longtime friends reconnected, a new land management business was launched, driven by shared values and a big vision.
The business expands from food plots into full-scale habitat improvements, property planning, and strategic land management tailored to each client.
TagOut Technique begins offering select products that align with their mission and values, providing tools clients can trust.
WestWind officially opens its doors and provides Rentown with a brick-and-mortar store for those who love the great outdoors.
With a growing team and loyal client base, Tagout Technique and WestWind Wildlife continue to foster a supportive community of hunters, guiding each one toward success in the field.
